What would your thought and/or impressions be of a person who was a pole dancer?

I rather have it 2" because I am 5"9 and I know the smaller size (Kendra) is for more petite persons. Which one of these is the better choice? If none, can you recommend another?

Also, I would prefer one that can easily be taken down and not so permanent. Don’t want it up all day everyday

Platinum Stages has a free standing pole. Go with the larger circumference, especially for a beginner, the larger poles are easier for learning tricks. If you aren’t good at home improvements, have a handyman install it for you to prevent an unfortunate accident.

You may also wish to get some thigh-hi boots to along with your pole. They will give you better grip when doing inverted pole tricks and will prevent bruising that occurs when you first start pole dancing.

i am wanting to get a stripper pole..but i have no idea how to install it..is it easy or hard…i have tile floor and what should u do about the ceiling? Please anybody ..got any ideas? and feel free to add any suggestions or share sum tricks!

if you are renting you will need the approval from your landlord/rental office. If you can do it after you got the okay from your landlord, I suggest hiring a handyman. Someone professional to install it. The last thing you want to do is do a performance and you rip out the ceiling or fall on your face.

Today i am taking my first pole dancing class. I am pretty much starting from scratch, because I have never pole danced before. About how long does it take to go from beginner to intermediate? I know I won’t be advanced overnight, but I am hoping to get to about the intermediate level by the final class( I signed up for a total of 18 lessons). Does anyone have any tips or advice for me?

That might be a bit much to expect. Esp if u don’t have ur own pole to practice on. I do have my own and I would say it took me six months to get to "intermediate" level. With pole dance its all relative to you and what u put in. But it is NOT as easy as it looks.

Would you disown her? Or just act like its a normal job and pretend it’s not happening?

It IS a normal job, at least probably. I might have a few questions for her to make sure it seemed like a safe place (or maybe check it out when was NOT working). But once satisfied the place was legit, I wouldn’t have any problem with it at all.

At what point does a stripper pole become an exercise pole?
