Whats the difference between a stripper pole and a regular pole? 10 points?

Serious answers only please. I am just curious if there is a difference.
A "stripper pole" has a brass collar and is small enough to get your hands around for the most part. It should also be bolted to both the floor and ceiling.
A regular pole has metal burrs in it that can cut your hands and it’s not slick so there’s no possibility of doing any moves w/ it.
