want to get a dance pole. xpole?
it all started with the electra pole. well i did my research and with my ballet/gymnastics history i know im going to want something i can spin on and do all sorts of stuff a flimsy pole could not handle.
right now im looking at lil mynx and xpole. lil mynx have these cute powder coated poles for 195 but i think the powder might make it hard to grip? any help/experience appreciated ♥
the xpole is your best choice, its very sturdy and a little thick..its a great sturdy pole

Yes, the powder will make it difficult. You need some sort of friction to allow for a steady grip. The girls who do this for a living never use powder. That would lead to disaster.
You simply need a heavier, sturdier pole to work with. Good luck to you. I have the entire box set of Strip to Fit by Carmen Electra. I love it.
