I am interested in buying a portable dancing pole, because I rent my apartment and don’t want to permanently drill anything into the ceiling. My question is…are there any portable dance poles that are totally safe to invert on? I still want to be able to do basic spins for sure, but I want to buy the pole so I can practice some of the more advanced things I’m learning in class. I have to be able to go upside down/do tricks at the top of the pole or its not worth it.

Specifically, are the Lil Mynx portable poles safe for inverting? That is the brand I’m currently most interested in.

Thanks for the help!
*** UPDATE: I emailed both the official ebay retailer of Lil Mynx Poles and the Lil Mynx website directly and they both gave me quick responses. They basically said that their poles are professional quality and should be safe to use no matter what because they have drill mounts (though still completely portable) that keep it stable. They did, however, say that their Lil Mynx Pro Pole is the one that has something called a "friction mount", which they warn has some limitations as far as weight because it is not as stable. I think this one is an even more portable version of their products (wedged by only friction, I suppose?) because it doesn’t require any ceiling mounts, like the others do.

EVEN STILL, I’d appreciate any dance pole owners letting me know if they have any input about this subject. I’d like to know if any at-home users have experienced problems or particular delight with their brand of pole. THANKS!

Yes it is,.
