can i install a stripper pole in my apartment?

i am wanting to get a stripper pole..but i have no idea how to install it..is it easy or hard…i have tile floor and what should u do about the ceiling? Please anybody ..got any ideas? and feel free to add any suggestions or share sum tricks!
if you are renting you will need the approval from your landlord/rental office. If you can do it after you got the okay from your landlord, I suggest hiring a handyman. Someone professional to install it. The last thing you want to do is do a performance and you rip out the ceiling or fall on your face.

Wouldn’t recommend it unless you live in a high-rise with cast concrete ceilings. You need to know the support structure in the ceiling and you will likely damage the drywall or plaster, even if you can locate a joist. Is it really worth losing your security deposit for such a useless "exercise" gimmick?

I wouldn’t do it in a rental without permission from the owner. And, as an owner of a couple of rentals, I would not let you do it. Not only would it create large holes (from the mounting hardware) in the ceiling, but it could damage the tile. Besides, you *really* don’t want to have a stripper pole over a hard floor. And, as the owner of the rental, I would possibly have some liability if I were to allow you to have a stripper pole and you hurt yourself on it. Look on You Tube for stripper pole videos of women crashing to the ground by the pole falling down or they simply couldn’t hold themselves up. They had a video montage of them on Tosh.0 (on Comedy Central) a few weeks ago and some of these ladies really jacked themselves up falling off the pole.
