    This pole is a complete rip off. I purchased one in excitement & ignorance and it is horrible not to mention dangerous! I still have it for keepsake, but anyone who wants it can have it if they come and pick it up. IT’s FREE! Why you would want it though is beyond me. Get a Platinum or X-Pole; they are awesome!

    oh guys, come on - this is not advertised as a professional pole! its supposed to be a bit of fun!! Me and my boyf wanted something to spice up things a bit, but without spending mega bucks or complicated installation. This pole fits what we want - FUN! we know you cant do loads of moves on it, its just as fun dancing round it - which is what it is advertised as. jeez guys, have some FUN!

    OK, so if I go to U.K. I can pretend to tip a pole dancer who has fake hooters…

    Save your money and get a 2″ diameter wood rod at lumber store, get it cut just under size, then buy rubber furniture feet at hardware and wedge in place. Get thin wood shim for bottom. Get real garter/money/boyfriend/(life).

    Won’t break but maybe secure top, and sand/varnish where you grab it.
