The X-Pole is made in the Uk and seems to be the maserati of dancer poles. The reviews have been great. It comes in Chrome and is 1.96″ thick. Is is a removable pole that does not require any bolts. Its uses a 15″ dome to cover 2 ceiling joists for added stability. Can be be set for static or rotating easily. One of the higher priced poles.

At the beginning of the George Sampson- dancing in the rain video for britains got talent he grabs a pole and holds all his body straight into the air. How do people do this? Ive seen many Break Dancers doing it.
if you're talking about holding his body horizontally thats the flagpole. if you mean vertically its a variation of the pole handspring or cartwheel. it just takes alot of strength and practice.

I know they make good money and yes I'm a guy and NO i'm not gay. I just want the money easilly. I have been practicing on teatherball poles and yes I think I'm good but not good enough. And no I'm not going to the club until 9 years later because I'm hella short and they might think I'm a Kid. By then I know I'll be taller. Just help me become a pole dancer. I'm willing to take classes and NO I will not go to your house or a club until 9 years later.
I Googgled "learn exotic dance" & a few sites came back that might be of use to you. These classes seem geared towards women, but maybe you could contact them & get some info on how to find classes near you.
